Traditional
psychotherapy addresses the cognitive and emotional elements of trauma, but lacks
techniques that work directly with the physiological elements, despite the fact
that trauma profoundly affects the body and many symptoms of traumatized individuals
are somatically driven.

Tuition
US$3000 (Price subject to change). Tuition includes training and course materials. Please apply early, space is limited. 5% discount for Early Registration (if deposit is received by 12/11/06). Deposit due upon acceptance to program to hold your place in the training. 5% discount if paid in full by 1/12/07 . Checks, MC and Visa accepted. Installment Payment Plans available. Scholarships available, please request an application. In the event minimum enrollment is not met, SPI reserves the right to postpone or cancel a training. $150 cancellation fee if student withdraws less than 3 days prior to the start of the training. A partial refund is offered for those who cancel within the first 2/3 of the training.
Prerequisites and Application Requirements
To qualify, applicants must be graduate students, clinical interns or licensed in their field and state. To enroll, the SPI office must receive a written or emailed application accompanied by a US$25 (non-refundable) registration fee no later than two weeks prior to the start of the training.

Continuing education credit is co-sponsored by the Sensorimotor Psychotherapy Institute and Amedco/R Cassidy Seminars. Full attendance is required for the sessions you attend. Applications for continuing education credit will be available at the initial training session.
