Experiencing Sensorimotor Psychotherapy
A course for personal growth and interpersonal skills
This course is designed for people interested in experiencing Sensorimotor
Psychotherapy. Personal processing is an important part of the curriculum.
Participants have the opportunity to discover and change their fundamental
patterns of organization, both physical and emotional, that limit
the unfolding of their full potential. Stimulating, comprehensive,
and practical, this course is useful for personal growth, as preparation
for psychotherapy training, to learn interpersonal and facilitative
skills, and to study and experience the basics of somatic psychology.
It is appropriate for those who work in the service professions,
in business contexts (managers, administrators, supervisors) or
for anyone who wants to catalyze their own personal and professional
development and improve interpersonal skills. Emphasis is placed
on a somatic approach to working with psychological and group issues
in a gentle, compassionate, and mindful atmosphere, in order to
develop personal and group resources.
