Training Detail Gainesville, FL Professional Training for Body Therapists APRIL 30, 2008 Start Date Sensorimotor Psychotherapy Institute offers this adjunct course designed for bodyworkers, movement therapists, yoga teachers, and other somatic therapists who are interested in the SPI approach to body psychology. With its emphasis on developing physical resources to address the effects of developmental and traumatic issues, this course teaches maps and skills for understanding these issues and their impact upon the body and the relationship between therapist and client. Interventions are taught both didactically and experientially and are designed to be integrated with existing body therapy skills. The length of this training is 108 hours, approved by Florida Board of Massage Therapy. Training Curriculum (click for more information) Training Dates:
Times: Fridays 4:00pm - 7:00pm Saturdays 9:00am - 6:00pm and Sundays 9:00am - 5:00pm Location: Florida School of Massage, 6421 SW 13th St, Gainesville, FL 32608. Map Trainers: Michael Broas Tuition: 2,000 USD. A non-refundable registration fee of $25. A deposit of $250 is due to hold your place in the training. Refund Policy Prerequisites: Students are expected to have prior bodywork training, as this course is an adjunct training and not a substitute for bodywork training.
