Training for the Treatment of Trauma

Traditional psychotherapy addresses the cognitive and emotional elements of trauma, but lacks techniques that work directly with the physiological elements, despite the fact that trauma profoundly affects the body and many symptoms of traumatized individuals are somatically driven.

Please note that the first and last weekends are 3 days - they each include the Friday. All others are 2 days: Saturday and Sunday only. Note the different Sunday hours on the 3 day weekends.

Times: Fridays 1:00-6:00, Saturdays 9:00-5:30 and Sundays 9:00-5:30 (9:00-3:00 on 3-day weekends)

Tuition: 3,000 USD. A non-refundable registration fee of $25. A non-refundable deposit of $500 is due to hold your place in the training. 5% discount if deposit is received with the application. 5% discount if paid in full by 06/09/2008. 10% Hakomi Graduates discount.

Prerequisites:

To qualify, applicants must be graduate students, clinical interns or licensed in their field and state.
