Workshop

This training will offer a neurobiological lens for looking at traumatized individuals and introduce techniques that address trauma-related challenges. Participants will learn how to assess and make sense of trauma-based symptoms, how to use the neurobiological and attachment research to inform the treatment and enhance the therapeutic alliance, and how to apply neurobiologically informed treatment techniques in clinical practice. Case consultations by Dr. Fisher will be offered during the second half of the course allowing participants an opportunity to present challenging individuals and apply the approaches learned earlier in the session.
